Grey Oranges (EP) was recorded while I was living at a recording studio/performing arts space in Taichung, Taiwan.

The school was busy during the days with art classes, yoga classes, singing classes, and band practices. I worked in the evenings teaching English to kids in the countryside, and didn't get home until late.

Almost every song was recorded between 11pm and 5am with just the cat for company. The songs on Grey Oranges skew pretty dark, and I think that has a lot to do with the state of the world when they were recorded, the late evening sessions, and my mental state.
